PNB Makes A General Offer on P. Garden

Hi folks. Guess what? As the title suggested, PNB did make a G.O. on Petaling Garden at RM2.50. Those who bought the stocks before its suspension last Friday will be laughing to the bank. I sold all my holdings in P.Garden this morning at 2.44. Could have waited for the completion of the G.O and redeemed my shares at 2.50 but that will take about a month or so to be completed. Might as well I forgo the 6 cents to realized some profit now and reinvest in another counter. My business finance lecturer once thought me the concept of tvm - time value of money...guess it works really well in this situation.

New Stock Pick

My latest pick is KSL Holdings. Don't ask me why, I just have a very good feeling about this stock. Utilized all the profits from P Garden and bought a few lots of KSL at an average price of 2.30. Be caution that this need a longer holding period (2-3 months). Immediate target RM2.80 but more upside can be expected once the baby breaches the psychological resistance at 3.00

Will update my current holding and mark to market P&L for the month of April later tonight.

On a separate note, can't wait for the 2nd leg semi final b/w my beloved Reds and Chelsea tomorrow night. What a coincidence - the next day is a public holiday. Guess I 'll be staying up all nite to watch this cracker. 100% confident that the Anfield roar will turn the table on the depleted Blues. Adios for now.

Hi fellow readers. Just detected new stocks in my radar. Expecting some news in 1-2 weeks time. Trading strategies are as follows:

HOVID
1. Entry price: RM0.44
2. Cut loss level: RM0.40
2. Take profit level: RM0.58
3. Max. holding period: 3 weeks

PGARDEN
1. Entry price: RM1.98
2. Cut loss level: RM1.70
2. Take profit level: RM2.50
3. Max. holding period: 1 month

Just sold Faber at 1.57 yesterday. Darn! It went up to a high of RM1.70 today. Will buy again when the technical correction happens. This baby is so strong that it went against overall market downturn today. Still a BUY to me.

Thinking to sell SapuraCrest and SapuraCrest-w tomorrow. At 1.52 and 1.02, I feel the price gonna be stuck in that range for the next week or two.

What A Bad Week

Life can never be that smooth sailing after all. Last week I received a letter from the lawyer. Apparently my brother in law has defaulted on his personal loan and guess what? I am his guarantor!!! The letter demand me to pay for his outstanding loan amounting to RM33k in 14 days time....Arggh... there goes my future loan application until my name is cleared form the defaulter list in CCRIS. Tried talking to him but as expected, he has no money to pay. After all if he has the financial capability to serve the loan, I wouldn't have gotten the letter in the first place! It was hard for me to say no when he asked me to his guarantor a couple of years ago. Well, I should have foresaw this happening. At this moment I am totally clueless on my next course of action. Any advice?

To make things worse, Fical has close shop. The site cannot be accessed and I have 2 pending withdrawals. There goes my RM3k there...sob...sob. Well its part and parcel of this game, just that the game ended sooner than expected. I was quite amazed by the public reaction who complained to the media when several of the internet programs went down. They should be aware of the risk before jumping in. No point sacrificing all your hard earned savings to become richer in days! No point crying over spilled milks. There's no way that they'll see their money again. Poor chap.

There's a saying, there's a light at the end of every tunnel. Hopefully I would shed some next week. Let's start with some hot tips for the share market. My usual tipster just rang and here are the counters I would buy tomorrow:

1.WCT Land (last traded 1.68)
2. Selangor Properties (last traded 5.30)

I will update the cost and targetted selling price tomorrow.

Last week saw some panic reaction to the market resulting from the sell-offs in China. I should have bought some of UEM World on Thursday, but didn't. It went to a low of 3.74 on Thursday, but rebounded to close at 4.14 on Friday. There goes a loss opportunity of 0.40 cents in one day!

Anyway lets hope for a better week. Happy investing in what ever market u are in :)

March Update - Mighty Reds March On

March has been a good month for me ...financially. All the programs that I've joined have been paying. On top of that, my KLSE investment has generated a 20% return for the month of March. Thanks to rally in UEM World. I have increased my stake to the following counters in the month of March:

Em-Pay

March was quite a slow month for em-pay. My earnings depreciated by 17% to RM744 compared to Feb's earning of RM901. The slowdown could due to several downtime on the site during the month to accommodate the server upgrade to facilitate em-pay expansion in China (other than myself being lazy). On a separate note, my beloved Reds have qualified for the semi-final of the Champions League. It'll be a tough encounter against the Roman army but at this stage any opponents would be tough. My Mu mates have been touting on how they'll beat us in the final....dream on man, u won't get thru the semi. Milan would be desperate this time to prove their worth. hehe
