Bio-Asli Virgin Coconut Oil is a truly unrefined coconut oil. This coconut oil is made from organic coconuts. Coconuts are used fresh (within 24 hours of harvest) from small family farms in Sabak Bernam and other nearby rural places in southern Perak, the famous and renowned coconut cultivation area in Malaysia. The fresh coconut meat is shredded (wet milled), and then cold-pressed to make coconut milk. The milk is then fermented for 24-36 hours, and the oil is then separated and filtered from the curds.

Irritating Answers

It's time of the year again. Those who's not self-employed will get our year end bonus (hopefully :)
And similar to the Barclays Premier League, the transfer window reopens in January. People will move to a greener pasture seeking higher salary and better working conditions.

A lot of my colleagues are moving too. But I noticed one typical answer which irritates me, quite a lot literally. Whenever I asked to which firm they are moving too, most of them would smile back and politely tell me the following:

1. "Sorry, I am not able to tell you."
2. "Err...let me keep it as a secret"
3. "I prefer not to tell....sooner or later u shall know"

For god's sake I can't understand one bloody reason on why these people can't tell me where their next destination is. As if I would be running to their next employer and take their places to be! Can't they be direct enough? Hello...this is not a government secret..wankers...haha.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish a very happy ending to year 2007 and welcome 2008 with a greater determination to succeed in everything. Adios!

Sdara Futsal Interbatch Challenge 2007

The annual SDARA futsal tournament was held last Saturday (8 December 2007) at Subang Sports Planet. Once again batch 91 managed to uphold the tradition of sending 2 teams in the competition. Our objective was to avenge our defeat last year and regain the Championship. The list of players are as follows:

91A - Nok, Capang, Bratt, Bai, Syfik, Eimir, Ajoy
91B - Ajan, Lumut, Kiak, Panas, Ghiya, Jranque, Tomo, Apple

Team 91A was grouped together with last's year champ - 89, 90 & 94B while team 91B was up against 94A, 83 & 85.

Team B was first into action against the juniors from 94B. Unfortunately, not all players turned up on time, (9 a.m. was too early for some of us) thus the half strength team was beaten by 2 clear goals. Team A first match was against our juniors 93B. We really teach them an expensive futsal lesson by convincingly winning the match 4-0 (Bai-2, Bratt & Capang).

Team B managed to regrouped and showed their true colours in the 2nd match against team 85 where they scored 2 goals without reply (Apple, Jranque). In their second match, team A was up against their 1 year senior (Team 90) and continued their free scoring record by trouncing 3 unanswered goals (Bai, Capang, Bratt) against their opponent.

Team A third and final group match was against team 89. Although we were down by a goal early in the game, we managed to worked our socks off and notch the equalizer a few minutes from time thanks to a long range shot by Eimir. Team B finished as runner up in the group by scoring 3 unanswered goals against team 83 in their final match (Apple-2, Jranque). So both teams qualified to the quarter finals of which team 91A was up against team 90 and team 91B squared off against team 89.

Since the quarter finals was 2 hours away, we decided to take a light meal at the nearby mamak stall. Being a typical Sdarian, what plans out to be a light snack turns out to be a feast to some of us :) (imagine RM12 for nasi campur!) . When it comes to kick-off time, team 91A was first up. Disappointingly, our star striker (Bai) was absence (last year pun sama gak) to pick up his wife from work (memang dasar TB). The match was evenly balanced but team 90 had the additional motivation to avenge their defeat to us in the semi final stage last year. A minute from the end, they scored the solitary goal that left our players in despair. 1-0 was the final score to team 90.

Team 91B took the pitch brimming with confidence from their consecutive wins in the group stage. We played a no nonsense football but our lack of experience plus the excessive meals took its toll when we were narrowly beaten by 2 goals to nil.

This was our worst performance since we were promoted to Otai category. Having said that, my sincere gratitude goes to all players who participated in the event. It would be nicer if we have more commitment next year (this was cut and paste from last's year report!). Special mention needs to go to Ajoy for the array of breads provided for breakfast and also to Jranque who's willing to take the risk to play despite just recovering from the operation. We shall be back to regain our crown next year. After all its just another game of futsal.
